Delisting Products

This is a guide of how to delist products on Kitchen CUT.

The Delist feature allows users to mark products that are no longer available or no longer in use without removing them entirely from the system. This provides visibility to teams while preserving historical data and allowing continued use in recipes where needed.


What Happens When a Product is Delisted?

  • A banner will appear on the product stating that it has been delisted.

  • This visual warning is visible across multiple areas of the system:

  • Delisted products can still be added to recipes and will behave as normal — this feature is informational only and does not restrict functionality.


How to Delist a Product

Option 1: Delist a Single Product

  1. Go to Suppliers > Products

  2. Search for and open the product you wish to delist

  3. Click Edit

  4. Scroll to the Delisted dropdown and select YESScreenshot 2025-06-10 at 12.04.27-1

  5. Click Save to apply the change


Option 2: Delist Products in Bulk

  1. Go to Suppliers > Products

  2. Use the filters or search bar to find the products you want to delist

  3. Tick the checkbox next to each product

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and open the Do with selected dropdownScreenshot 2025-06-10 at 13.37.34

  5. Select Delist, then confirm your choice

  • Use the delist function to flag discontinued or phased-out products without removing them from the system entirely.

  • Delisting ensures data consistency while providing a visual prompt to teams working in recipes or orders.

  • Consider reviewing delisted products periodically and removing them entirely only when you're certain they are no longer needed.

Can delisted products still be added to recipes?
Yes — delisted products are still functional and can be added to recipes. The delisting serves as a warning only.

Will delisted products appear in ordering?
Yes, they remain visible and available for ordering unless manually removed or blocked.

Can I reverse the delisting?
Absolutely — just edit the product, change the Delisted dropdown back to NO, and save.
